I have just come from my appointment with Dr Barb Smith.
Dr Barb is very approachable and has an easy manner.
I don't know about you but sometimes I feel a little venerable at a heath practitioner hands.
Very quickly........ we got down the root about what her fine art was about.
It is easy to think that Chiropractor is one part Doctor and other Part Sorcerer.
One important question to me is aging, aging spine and hips... from running and martial arts concerns for me.
I have learned how to keep my spine and hips from getting older in a unhealthful way.
Researching the procedure will be helpful to me and I will be back soon to share that info. :)

Every creative endeavor begins with, and is seen through to completion by, a vision. The creation of ID-Digest is no different. Since we hope you will be joining us on the journey, we want to share our vision with you.
We have put together a list of departments that includes Interior Design, Paint & Plaster, The Arts, Exterior Design, Creative Living, Hospitality, Travel, and Real Estate. In each of these areas, we envision spotlighting people with creative talents, highlighting their accomplishments for the world to see and appreciate, and inspiring others to find an outlet for their own creativity by offering advise, information, and how-to projects.
Each department will have it’s own distinct personality and focus, but the combination, and the order they are in, will offer a complete picture of the design process from start to finish.
Are you catching the vision?
Then welcome to ID-Digest.com!

It is Grilling Time!

Grill Time Meat Shop
62 Laird Drive
Go for lunch and pick up dinner!
They have all kinds of treats and cover all the bases for meal time.
All the meats and fresh fish are sold in standard priced portions.
This works for me because I can be prepared for dinner with a budget for price and calories.
Just opened and you grab a coffee as well next door at Starbucks on Laird.
Lots of parking

Mural painted in Debbie Travis Venetian Plaster

Well,
I have started a fresco in my friend Stephanie's new digs in Rosedale.
After a sit down in the hallway over some photos and books of both ours.
I was thinking something soft and italian and settled on older version of a roman garden.
The garden colours will be still soft blue sky and light colours in the garden.
I have found lots of historial reference I will show you.
Looking forward to trying a new venetian plaster by Debbie Travis.
Take pictures has I go.

WOODLOT HARVEST STUDIO
One of a Kind Bowls
by Geoff Kelk
Each of my bowls starts as a rough block of ‘green wood’ from the woodpile. On the lathe, it is turned into a thick, roughly formed bowl, which is slowly dried for six months. It is then re-turned on the lathe and its final shape is revealed. My 'one of a kind' bowls are made from maple, cherry, birch, walnut, beech and ash.
Sizes vary from 6 to 26 inches in diameter and up to 12 inches deep. They are prefect for use as salad or fruit bowls and make very special wedding gifts. My bowls make ideal accent pieces on just about any form of furniture.
I have bowls in stock or I can make one to your specifications. Call ahead and drop in, or e-mail me and I will send you pictures of several I think might suit your requirements.
“ I strive to transform a rough block of wood into an elegant balanced form. I turn bowls in ageless, graceful lines, which relate to the use and character of the piece. This allows the wood to appeal to a person's senses without interference. The grain and patterns in the wood are naturally complemented. I want the bowls to be a pleasure to pick up and use everyday and hopefully become tomorrow’s antiques.”
“A bowl made of wood has a warm, tactile feeling,
making it a pleasure to hold and behold”
